LV padlocks have points to consider to ensure they're authentic. The front has the "LV" logo engraved as standard, and the back should have three different style seals. These seals are:

- LOUIS VUITTON - PARIS - MADE IN FRANCE

- LOUIS VUITTON - MADE IN FRANCE

- LOUIS VUITTON - PARIS

If a padlock is stamped with "Made in Paris," it is a counterfeit: "Made" is always followed by the country, not the city.
